Are your first aid kits in compliance with Z308.1-2009? That’s the not so new ANSI standard that OSHA refers to as the standard for the “minimum requirement for a workplace first aid kit”.
If your first aid supplier is still talking about Z308.1-2003 then they have missed the boat and you are not in compliance with the new standard.
Your arrest and imprisonment is not imminent, but you really should have a look at the new standard and start thinking about implementation. The good news is that it isn’t really that hard if your first aid supplier is ready to implement the changes. The big change is that the ten line items that are required now also have to be properly labeled.
